Cindy Hong's powerful show brings attention to the stories of women kidnapped as teenagers in the 1930s and 40s by the Imperial Japanese Army and held in comfort stations for Japanese soldiers during the war. Out of what is estimated to be 200,000 women affected by this tragedy, only 25 survivors remain. To this day, these women are seeking atonement from Japan. Cindy's work raises awareness as these women continue their fight for justice.
