This musical serves up a slice of small town southern life with a heaping helping of comedy. At Barbara’s Blue Kitchen the special of the day is a genuine look into the hearts of everyday people. The trials and tribulations of a weary nurse, an elderly widow, an overwhelmed mother of three boys, a heartbroken waitress and the topsy-turvy love life of Barbara Jean play out like a country song.
