Eddie Owen Presents: Emmy Law, Fields, The Twotakes
Emmy Law is a folk pop singer-songwriter originally from Gainesville, GA. She grew up singing, taking piano lessons, and playing sports. She majored in music education and ran cross country at the University of North Georgia. Due to her classical education, songwriting didn’t come until the end of college. In 2016, Emmy moved to Atlanta, GA where she is now heavily involved in the local music scene.
Formed by childhood friends Samuel Glanton and Caleb Jackson, Fields is an indie roots rock band out of somewhere between Atlanta and Athens, GA completed by the musical talents of Joseph Cram and Taylor McCart. Crafting lyrically focused songs, Fields draws its inspiration from modern rock and early country influences to create something that occasionally leans towards either end of that spectrum. The band’s aim is to create and expound on their personal experiences with live music and its ability to connect an audience.
The Twotakes, based Atlanta, GA, is an alternative rock band influenced by music ranging from the 60's to present day. Finding a balance between alternative rock with pop-riffs and rock 'n' roll, their debut album, Submarine Races, brings something new to the music scene while paying tribute to the styles we know and love.
General admission seating. Doors open at 7 PM.
