About this Event
View map Free Event Add to calendarImmerse yourself in an indoor tree house and explore firsthand who lives in the trees through stereoscopic viewfinders, tracking clues, natural artifacts and sounds. The lively setting will have visitors roaming from tree to tree to house as they discover the many habitats that trees provide for animals large and small-and people too!
The central component of this exhibit is a large constructed treehouse that takes visitors “into the forest canopy.” Visitors will uncover fascinating facts about what types of animals actually live in the trees, what kinds of animal clues to look and listen for in the forest and illustrate how people use trees for their homes as well.
This exhibit challenges visitors to play inside the constructed tree houses while viewing tree houses from around the world, playing computerized games that teach how to harvest trees without harming wildlife, peeking into the hidden tree homes of animals and much more.
Included with Center admission.
